Greedy

Synopsis

The engagement was called off. A single wedding invitation—printed with the man who broke off the engagement and her best friend of ten years. At thirty-one, Han Yuju walks away from both love and friendship. All she has left is a five-year stint as a junior editor at a fashion magazine— a job where she can’t even put her name on a single column. Nothing in her life—work or love—goes the way she wants. Then Go Tae-i appears. A man who lives in the spotlight. A glamorous face plastered across billboards— yet soaked in tears in an unexpectedly fragile moment. During an interview, Tae-i confesses a dangerous secret to Yuju. “I’m going to die soon. The odds are probably fifty-fifty. So go ahead—use me. Stop pretending to be good.” His careless tone, the way he breaks down and endures— it all feels eerily similar to Yuju herself. A golden ticket that drops into her despair without warning. Is it a stroke of luck… or a trap? Afraid to reach out, Yuju is left to choose. What should she do?
