Operation Water Ghost

Synopsis

Kwon Hee-mang lives the life of an unemployed, stay-at-home hikikomori with no particular job or friends. But one day, after an unexpected accident, she gains the ability to see ghosts, and she ends up with a ghost named Kim Sarang clinging to her after meeting her in the hospital. Kim Sarang tells Kwon Hee-mang that she will obediently leave is Hee-mang helps her resolve her lingering regret. Kim Sarang’s regret is none other than dying just one month after finally confessing to and dating the man she had a crush on (and she never even got past first base.) Sarang insists she wants to “borrow” Hee-mang’s body to enjoy dating her boyfriend one last time before passing on. Before Hee-mang can even respond, Sarang possessed her body and rushes off to find him. Possessed, Kwon Hee-mang tracks down Woo Taemin, a college student eight years younger than her who has just returned to school after being discharged from the military and is enjoying a welcome-back party, She then proceeds to aggressively kiss him without warning. When the possession ends, Hee-mang is mortified. She just kissed a man nearly ten years younger, making her look like a crazy, jobless shut-in woman attacking a college kid. She flees in shame. Meanwhile, Taemin, who’s a popular extrovert everyone in the department knows, finds the whole incident spreading like wildfire across campus. But instead of feeling humiliated, he’s strangely excited. Because his ideal type has always been a bold, older woman. Taemin has fallen for Hee-mang at first sight… (also known as 물귀신 작전 / Mulgwisin Jakjeon) Currently ongoing with 41 chapters available (starting from Chapter 1 up to the latest Chapter 41).
