Stair, the Gaze That Devours Me

Synopsis

The man was never needed for more than a single night. Forced by her parents into marriage to pay off their debt, she chose to believe the words of the man who claimed to love her just as much. But the price of that complacent rationalization was paid three years later—through her husband’s infidelity and their divorce. She no longer wanted love, nor shallow words of courtship. Yuna Kwon, an art auctioneer divorced because of her husband’s affair, meets a man one day at a bar and spends a night of reckless escape with him. One night with a man who could fulfill her fantasy was supposed to be enough— but against her expectations, she gets entangled with him, dragged into an irresistible relationship like sinking into quicksand. “Don’t be nervous. That night was amazing, that’s all.” Their bodies tangled passionately, while their hearts stayed distant— until the day he boldly crossed the line. “Sorry, but I’m done hiding my feelings.” A woman who no longer believes in love, nor intends to fall in love again—Yuna Kwon. A man who has loved her silently for a long time, and now refuses to lose the chance to finally hold her—Lee Chang-woo.
